Scoops2U, originally known as “The Ice Cream Catering Company,” is the premier full-service ice cream distributor serving the Northern Virginia-DC-Suburban MD-Baltimore corridor. Founded by the three Jims in 1997, we’ve grown from our humble beginnings with only 31 flavors to offering a comprehensive line of ice cream brands and products.
Since the beginning, we have specialized in corporate ice cream socials, bringing joy and indulgence to company events with our signature ice cream sundae socials, complete with professional servers. Our full-service ice cream events feature festive, custom-designed umbrella push carts that add a splash of fun to any setting, whether indoors or outdoors. Our largest carts can even hold temperature for up to 8 hours after being plugged in overnight!
In 2011, we expanded our fleet with customized ice cream trucks, adding a new layer of entertainment and nostalgia to our offerings. These unique trucks allow event hosts to choose from prepackaged novelty bars, freshly scooped ice cream, or our delicious ice cream sandwiches, all served directly from the truck. The sight of a Scoops2U truck arriving at an event never fails to excite guests of all ages, promising a delightful treat every time!
As we continue to grow, so does our range of services. Alongside our premium ice cream, we’re also proud to introduce Scoops Bakery, where our delicious, made-from-scratch cookies can be customized for any occasion. Also be sure to inquire about our artisan popcorn, popped in small batches and fresh to each order. And don’t miss our variety of gourmet treats, including ice cream sandwiches, s’mores, candy, and drinks!
